Dorothea Mary Smith Scott, 93, Boone. Born near Gilmore City. Married Clarence Scott in 1948. The couple divorced and she married Dr. Daryl Bottorff in 1973 and moved to Sac City. She moved later to Boone as a single mom. She was a gifted artist at age 12 and took flying lessons to be a pilot at age 18. Known for many attributes, this mom, mother, grandmother and friend to many, enjoyed having fun. Her personality and kindness displayed the love she had for life. Survivors include seven sons, including Andrew Scott of Boone, six daughters, including Mary Beth (Jeff) Scott and Rebecca (Lilly) Scott of Boone.Services in Boone.
Joyce Thornwall, 95, Madrid/Madrid Home. Formerly of Slater.
Suzanne Erika Johnson, 75, Madrid/Madrid Home. Formerly of Centerville and Exira. Survivors include her husband, Donald Johnson, of Madrid, two daughters, four brothers and a sister. Services in Nevada and Eldora.
