BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Jan Colette Johnson, 75, Stratford. Born in Fort Dodge. Attended schools in Promise City and Stratford and beauty school in Ames. Married Larry Dean Johnson in 1963 in Duncombe. Worked several years for Syngenta in Ames before retiring. She enjoyed gambling, reading and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Larry, of Stratford, three adult children, including Randy Johnson of Stratford and Rick Johnson of Boone. A brother, sister and sister-in-law also survive.
