BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Beverly Lois Roof  Roe, 89, Boone. Born near Weldon, IA. Humeston HS-51. Worked at Bankers Life in Des Moines. Married Charles F. Roe in 1953 in Humeston. The couple lived in California and eight years in Marshalltown before moving to Boone. Retired after 18 years with Boone State Bank. Also worked in school hot lunch programs. Enjoyed card club, hospital auxiliary and the Squires and Dames dance group. Loved traveling and also spent a couple days each year at the Iowa State Fair. Survivors include a son, Douglas, and daughter, Brenda, and a sister. Services in Boone with burial in Humeston.
