BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     David Paul Slater, 77, Boone. Born in Emmetsburg. EHS. Emmetsburg Junior College. UNI. Married Mary Wing in 1979. David worked for Iowa Public Television for over 25 years, then retired and drove a school bus for United Community schools. The couple traveled to all 50 states and Europe, loved singing, laughing and camping. He played the French horn and collected antiques. Survivors include his wife, Mary, of Boone and a sister.
