Darleen Francis Wegher McLaughlin, 98, Boone/Eastern Star. Born in Wyoming. Family lived in Sioux City. Married Ken McLaughlin in 1946. Moved to Ames while Ken attended college. He became an engineer for the DOT in Ames. She enjoyed camping trips, gardening, sewing and shows at the Des Moines Playhouse. Ken passed away in 2008. Survivors include three adult children, including Scott McLaughlin of Boone. Three sisters also survive. Family graveside service in Ames.
Patrick Alan Lincoln, 69, Ames. Born in Boone. Ogden HS. Married Jelene Lamaack in Wall Lake in 1990. The couple made their home in Ames. Worked at Munn Lumber and Freedom Tire. Loved the Yankees, Cyclones, John Wayne movies and cats. Survivors include his wife, Jelene, of Ames, two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law. Services in Ames and Wall Lake.
