BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

    Nila Ellen Craven Haleen, 71, Boone. Grew up in Boone. BHS-69. Married James Haleen in Boone in 1969. The couple made their home in Boone. For 20 years, she owned and operated Duds n Suds here. The couple, eventually, moved to Ames and Nila worked for 20 years at McFarland Clinic in environmental services. She loved to sew, shop and spoil her cats and dog. Survivors include her husband, James, of Ames, three adult children, including Angel Haleen (Chad Morton) and Andy Haleen (Kylie) of Boone. Two sisters and a brother also survive. Services in Boone.
