Jerry D. Morgan, 70, Boone. Passed the result of an auto accident. Born in Audubon. Married Vicky Walker in 1983. Was employed in Adel and then at IBP in Perry before retiring. Enjoyed many hobbies, motorcycle riding, taking his kids to play on go carts, raising rabbits and on occasion, having a garden. He also liked to tinker on things in his garage and split wood with his son, Santana. Survivors include his wife, Vicky Morgan, of Boone and four children, Shannon (Chon) Morrison of Madrid and both Travis and Santana Morgan of Boone. A brother and two sisters also survive. Services later with a graveside service in Madrid.
Charles Arthur Bowers, 82, Huxley. Born in Madrid. MHS. Naval service was interrupted by his broken ankle and medical discharge. Married Sharon Klonglan in 1964. She passed in 2017. He worked for 45 years as a dispatcher, his last job with Giolotti Concrete. Charles enjoyed fishing, eating out at Perkins and gambling in Jefferson. Also enjoyed yard work. He was a lifetime member of the Madrid/Huxley area. Survivors include a son and a brother, Dennis Bowers of Madrid. Graveside services near Huxley.
