BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Marvin Walter Pearson, 86, Boone. BHS-55. Born in Boone. Married Karen Smiley in Nashua in 1960. Air Force vet. Finished a four-year carpentry apprenticeship and enjoyed a lifelong career as a carpenter at Iowa State University. He also owned and operated Pearson Construction. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, loved country music and enjoyed other music activities and dancing with friends. Three adult children survive, as do two sisters, two brothers-in-law and a sister-in-law. Services in Boone.
