We had reported earlier on the March death of Margaret Judge Stears but have additional information now.
Margaret Judge Stears, 85, Mesa, AZ. Born in Boone. BSH-61, where she was class valedictorian. Lived in Denver, Omaha and Everett, WA before settling in Mesa. Worked for the Maricopa County Elections and then the State of Arizona Secretary of State's office. She was appointed Arizona State Elections Officer in 1988 and retired as Assistant Secretary of State in 1994. Two sons and a daughter and their families survive. Services were held in Mesa.
