BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Ross L. Loudon, 82, Boone. Born in Ringold County. Diagonal HS. Navy vet. Married Alecia Fleming. They divorced. Met Kathleen (Kate) Kester, Was employed by Ames Ready Mix before becoming a Railroad Executive with DA Wilson Company, where he bought and sold locomotives. He could fix anything and built motorcycle trikes. During their 45 years together, the couple made numerous motorcycle trips throughout the U.S.. Ross enjoyed fishing, gardening and camping at the Iowa State Fair. Survivors include his lifetime companion, Kate Kester, a son and three step-children, including Nathan (Adria) Kester of Ogden and Maria (John) Wiebold of Boone. Two sisters also survive. Service at a later date.
