Elmo Hansen, 80, Boone. BHS-60. Survivors include his wife, Jolene, and three sons, Brent, Brad and Justin Hansen, all of Boone.
Barbara McKinney Humeston, 96, Ankeny. Formerly of Boone. Born in Osceola and grew up in Garden Grove and Humeston. HHS-45. Married Richard Humeston in 1952 and the couple resided in Knoxville, Humeston and settled in Boone in 1965. Worked as a school secretary at Bryant and Page schools. A 70-plus member of P.E.O. A son, John, BHS-78, and a daughter, Cynthia, BHS-75, (Jim) Smiley, survive. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
