Charlene M. Wilcox Alexander, 91, Boone. Born in Spencer. Was married to William Crooks for eight years prior to his passing in 1969. Married Norman Alexander in 1970. She loved to camp, never met an animal she didn't want to take home and was honored to be a Gold Star Mother. Survivors include her husband, Norman, three sons, a daughter and a brother. Services in Boone.
Philip Morris, 89, Sheldahl. Born in Boone. BHS-52. At age 3, he lost an eye in a nasty tree accident. Despite his handicap, he was a fierce competitor, enjoying sports, singing, woodworking, fixing things and dirty dominos. Married Betty Jean Miller in 1957. The couple made their home in Sheldahl. Survivors include his twin brother, Paul, and four of his younger siblings, JoAnn, Helen, Gale and Marilyn. He and Paul were the sixth/seventh of 12 children in the George and Thelma Morris family. Services in Madrid and Boone.
