Tisha Mae Medearis Koenig Porter, 40. Born in Des Moines. Adopted and raised in Boone by Thomas and Jane (Riley) Koenig, both deceased. Attended Boone schools. Married Benjamin Porter in 2017. A devoted mom to a blended family, she loved listening to country music, camping and going on vacation. Survivors include her husband, Ben, her mother, Pamela Medearis Risdal, six children and a sister. Services in Boone.
Duane Edwin Anderson, 78, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-62. Air Force vet. Duane was proud to be a member of the Boone County Freedom Flight of 2017. Attended ISU. Married Barbara McNace in Boone in 1968. Duane took over the family's business, Anderson Heating, Plumbing and Air Conditioning, and did many Boone County jobs including installation of the HVAC at the Boone and Scenic Valley Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Barb, and four adult children all of Boone. Included are daughter Christine and sons Mike, Brian (Elizabeth) and John (Faith). A sister-in-law, Martha Anderson, also survives. Services in Boone.
