Thomas O. Petersen, 79, Dayton Care C/formerly of Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-62. Married Jan Carroll in 1964. The divorced. Married Muriel "Murt" Newland McDowell in 2007. She passed away in 2009. An avid bowler, Tom loved his cars and motorcycles and was employed by the railroad until his retirement. Survivors include a son and daughter and two step-sons. Private services and burial in Boone.
Raymond Stumbo Jr., 77, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-64. Marched with the Toreadors in the Rose Bowl parade. Viet Nam Army vet. Married Joyce Wisecup, BHS-64, in Ogden in 1966. Worked on the railroad until retirement in 1999. Ray enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing, western movies and spending time with his miniature horses. He especially enjoyed hunting morel mushrooms Survivors include his wife, Joyce, daughters Lynn Clark of Ogden and Dawn (Rus) Schmidt of Boone, three sisters, including Ida Williams and Jane Boersma of Boone and a brother, Frank (Val) Stumbo of Boone. Services in Ogden.
