Gerald (Gus) E. Linn, 88, Boone.Born in Lehigh. LHS-53. Married Phyllis Knopf in Dayton in 1954. Living in the Boone area, Gus was a carpenter and worked maintenance for the Boone schools. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, was a member of the local Fish and Hunt club and a big fan of the Hawkeyes, Cubs and Vikings. Survivors include his wife, Phyliss, of Boone and four adult children including Mike (Lee) Linn, Susanne (Jim) Dawkins and Kris (Daryl) Angaran all of Boone. A Celebration of Life will be held later at the Boone Fish and Hunt club.
Laurie May Hodges Coffman, 79, Boone. Born in Boone County. Attended a one-room school, Ogden schools but then graduated from Gilbert HS. Married Curtis Coffman in Boone in 1978. She was an avid flower gardener, enjoyed mushroom hunting and collecting items. Member of Moose Lodge. Survivors include her husband, Curt, three adult children including Julie (Keith) Walters and Larry Warren both of Ogden. Services in Boone.
