Jacqueline Brown Sturdivant Montony, 90, Waukee. Born in Des Moines. Grew up on the family farm near Madrid. Services in Madrid and West Des Moines.
William (Bill) Leonard Peterson, 93, Savannah, GA. Raised on a farm near Madrid and attended a one room country school through eighth grade. B.S. degree from Simpson. Married Jane McCoy in 1951. Jane died in 2020. Air Force vet. Worked for Price Waterhouse in St. Louis and in 1965, joined the Ball Corporation in Muncie, IN, a community he was very active in. He retired in 1992 but then served two years as President and CEO of Jarden company. The couple moved in final retirement to Savannah where again, they were very active. Travel, music and the outdoors were important to the couple. Survivors include a son and daughter.
