Eden Mariah Montang, 22, Boone. Born in Pennsylvania. BHS-2018. Attended Massage Therapy Schooling in New Mexico. Joined the U.S. Army and spent three years, earning a rank of Specialist. Enrolled at ISU but also worked as a therapist and for Blessed Hands Cleaning. Since a young age, Eden was able to use sign language to communicate and she used that knowledge by being a teacher's assistant at ISU. Anyone who knew Eden, knew she had a "fire" for the Lord. Her parents are Terry and Mia Montang of Boone. Survivors also include two older siblings. Services in Ames.
Nancy Runyan, 69, Boone. Born in Boone. She enjoyed Danielle Steele books and following the weather. Survivors include five siblings, including Gene Runyan and Larry Runyan both of Stratford. A sister-in-law, Davene Runyan of Boone also survives. Graveside service in Stratford.
Caroline Sue Johnson Ross, 73, Des Moines. Born in Des Moines. Madrid HS-66. Attended a college in Colorado for a short time before moving back to Central Iowa. Worked various jobs until joining the U.S. Postal Service as clerk in 1974. After 40 years of service, she retired. Survivors include three adult children and a sister-in-law. Services in Madrid.
