Robert Johnson, 81, Boone. Born in Boone. United C HS-59. ISU-63. Served in the National Guard and began farming with his dad. Married Janet Andrews in 1964. Farmed the land near Jordan for 55 years before retiring and moving to Boone. He and Jan enjoyed lots of good traveling, especially to Osage Beach, MO. He loved ISU and Chicago Cubs sports, playing golf and computer solitaire. Survivors include his wife, Jan, three sons, including Jeff and Nick of Boone, a sister, a brother, three sister-in-laws, including Vicki Andrews Pietz of Boone and a brother-in-law. A celebration of life will be held in Boone. A private burial.
