He was a master carpenter and millwright. Loved hunting and fishing. Survivors include a son, Troy Shadle, of Boone, a daughter, two Boone sisters, Karen Donovan Howe and Sandra Wisecup, a Boone brother, Hollis Shadle, and his longtime companion, Roberta "Bert" Lewis of Berwick. Service in Boone.
