BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

   Ruth Morgan, 100, Chariton/formerly of Boone. Born in Chariton. Chariton Junior College grad. Married Ed Morgan in Albuquerque in 1942  when he was in service. Both Ruth and Ed taught for four years in Kalona after Ed completed service. Ed then taught in Keosauqua for a short time before the couple moved to Boone in 1958. Ruth was a secretary at Lowell Elementary. Ed was a teacher and coached Toreador boy's swimming. Ed passed in 1998 and Ruth moved back to Chariton in 2002. Survivors include a daughter, Susan, BHS-71, and two sons, Bill, BHS-79, and Tom, BHS-69. A sister and daughter-in-law also survive. Services in Chariton.
