BOONE AREA DEATH

   Evelyn C. Anderson Patterson, 97, Stratford. Stratford HS-42. Married Loren R. Patterson in 1943. The couple farmed southeast of Stratford until retirement in 1984. They continued living there until Loren's death in 2001. She then moved to Athens Woods Estates where she resided for 20 years. An active member of South Marion United Methodist Church, she attended Woman's Club and was a township clerk for 20 years. A board member of Athens Woods Estates, she wrote the Athens News for the Stratford Courier. Survivors include a daughter, two sons and two daughters-in-law, including Peg Engelhorn of Madrid. Private family service in Stratford.
