BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

   George D. Pestotnik, 83, Boone. Born in Boone. A Natural Guardsman, 1956-64. Married Colleen Westrum in 1958. From Stratford, moved to Longmont, CO in 1966. Moved back to Boone in 1969. Worked at Massey Ferguson. Owned and operated an auto detailing shop in Boone, worked at Ames Cycles and retired from Toyota of Ames. An avid race fan, he raced go carts and was a regular attendee at the Boone Speedway. Survivors include a son, Tim, sister, Betsy Behling, and brother, David, all of Boone. Three sisters-in-law also survive. Services in Boone.
