BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

   Lou LuVerne Jones, 91, Boone. Born in Boone County. Army vet. Married Marilyn Jane Reed in 1950. Worked construction for UBC Lumber in Boone, worked with his brother, Jiggs Jones, in Jones and Jones Remodeling and then worked in the paint lab at ISU for many years before retirement in 1995. He and Marilyn were card players and loved attending dances. Survivors include a son, two daughters, Mary Lou Williams and Marcia Backous, both of Boone and a sister-in-law, Kathy Reed, of Boone. No services are planned.
