Nancy Joy Hughes, 81, Boone. Born in Carlisle. Carlisle HS. Married Larry Hughes in 1961. Nancy was an entrepreneur with many business adventures. A retired country shop owner, she was also a skilled sewing pattern designer. The couple, Nancy and Larry, have been long time Boone residents. Survivors include her husband, Larry, daughters Amy, BHS-82, Andee, BHS-83, and Jacquie, BHS-89, sons Joel, BHS-86, and Jeffrey, BHS-88, and one sister. Services in Carlisle.
