Bryon Wafful, 69, San Diego. Formerly of Fort Dodge. Born in Fort Dodge. FDHS. Worked fifty years for the railroad out of Boone prior to retirement. In his early years, enjoyed boxing and boxed for the Fort Dodge Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed collecting phonographs. Survivors include his children and a brother. No services planned at this time.

The funeral service for Joye Engstrom has been set. It will be held at 2 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ankeny on Tuesday, July 16.
Ronald Menough, 81, Spirit Lake, passed away in late May. Born in Boone. BHS-61. Married Barbara Meyers in 1961 and the couple moved to St. Paul where they lived for 11 years. In 1974, they moved to Lakeville, MN, living in the same home for 47 years. The couple moved to Spirit Lake in 2021. Ron enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting, camping and motorcycle trips. His wife has passed but Ron has four surviving children, his sister, Karla, and brothers Jerry and John Menough. Services in Spirit Lake. (THX K. Anderson)
