Beverly D. Swore, 77, Boone. Born in New Mexico, grew up in California, lived in Vegas but always considered Boone her home, the place she wanted to raise her three daughters. Married Jerry in Boone and they were a couple for 41 years. Bev had a green thumb and enjoyed tending her plants and garden. An animal lover, she would never turn away an animal in need. Survivors include her daughters, Tina (George) Milburn, Teri Hermann and Tami (Robert) Baker and grandchildren. Services in Boone.
Bronda Fay Henson Johnson, 71, Boone. Born in Alabama. Schooled in the Waterloo area. Married Randy Johnson in 1970. The couple settled in Boone. Bronda was a CNA for 20 years and enjoyed reading, doing puzzles, the outdoors, gardening, collecting porcelain dolls and teaching her kids how to collect night crawlers and catch fish. Survivors include her husband, Randy, sons Travis (Katie) and Chad (Amanda) Johnson, a sister and three brothers. Services in Boone.
