Rosella Mae Palmateer Hawk, 88, Boone/Westhaven. Born in Nebraska. Stanhope HS-53. Married Richard Lee Sebring in Minnesota in 1953. Richard passed in 1962. Rosella married Robert Joseph Hawk in Boone in 1974. She and her husband, Richard, farmed and Rosella also worked at Bourns, Heinrich Envelope, the Ames Tribune and was Secretary at the Memorial Union Bookstore at ISU. She enjoyed music, camping and motorcycle trips. Survivors include her husband, Robert, two daughters, including Rosalie (Daryl) Petty of Boxholm, three sons, including Richard (Bev) and Roger (Lori) Sebring of Boone. Three step-children and two brothers also survive. Services in Boone.
Donald Whalen, 76, Ames. Services in Ames/Schroeder Stark Welin.
Milo E. Renberg, 61, Menomonie, Wisconsin. Born and raised on the Renberg century farm located near Boxholm. Grand Community HS-81. Iowa State University and a Masters from Missouri. He was a ceramic engineer and previously worked for Pittsburgh Corning, AFG American Flat Glass and AGC Asahi Glass Company. Was most currently employed as a tech manager at GGI Cardinal Glass Industries in Menomonie. Milo was an avid collector of coins, stamps and sports memorabilia. Survivors include his wife, Kim, three sons and a sister. Services in Boxholm.
Jerry Blaine Dickinson, 85, Ames. From the late 60's into the 70's, Jerry provided the Ames Tribune with photo coverage of the Boone Speedway races. He also served the Speedway as a Public Affairs spokesperson. Services in Ames and Van Meter.
