I have word of the death of Bruce Harris, BHS-53. Very limited information at this time. It's understood he has a brother, Robert C. Harris, BHS-61 surviving. His wife, June, passed away in 2015. No other information.
Dorothy Mae Lindahl Hoksbergen, 81, Grundy Center. Formerly of Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-59, then cosmetology school in Des Moines. Also earned an accounting degree from DMACC. Married Harlan Wildt. They separated later and she married Robert Hoksbergen in 1984. Worked in food service, including working at ISU as the head baker, at McDonald's in Story City and other venues. A member of the Coachman's Camping Club, she loved bingo, needlework, collecting Santa Clauses and making baby blankets. Survivors include her husband, Robert, of Grundy Center, a son, step-children, three sisters, including Nancy Platter of Boone and a sister-in-law, Shirley Lindahl, of Boone. Services in Boone.
