Helen (Joanie) Bennett Coleman, 76, Boone/Eastern Star. Born in Boone. Attended BHS. Married Richard (Dick) M. Anderson in 1965. The couple later divorced. Married Marvin (Marv) Coleman in 1989. Liked to fish in her earlier years. Reading, walking, garage sales and family were her favorite pastimes. Survivors include two sons, John Bennett and Richard Anderson, and a daughter, Ila Anderson-Ayala and four siblings, Sven Sterner, Richard Bennett, Jeanne Wimer and Karolyn Bennett. Services in Ames.
