Dora Kate Van Dyke Hanson, 86, Story City/Bethany. Born in Webster City. Grew up in Woodstock. Married Robert A. Hanson in 1955. The couple made many moves, Jewell, Colo and then Boone. Was a childcare provider and worked at the ISU library building as a custodian. An avid quilter, she also enjoyed reading and painting.Four adult children survive, Bonnie Green, Richard Hanson, Donald Hanson and Lee Ann Allen. A sister-in-law also survives. Services in Boone.
