BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Ronald Francis Meyer, 77, Ames. Formerly of Boone. Born in Illinois. Helped on the family farm. Routt Catholic HS. Earned a B.S. degree in business from Quincy College, IL. Married Doris Dvorsky in Iowa City in 1969. Started with J.C. Penny as the youngest store manager in  the chain. Worked for several various implement dealers, Allis-Chalmers, Case IH, New Holland and John Deere, selling farm equipment. Retired from the Central Iowa Farm Store in 2018. He loved vacationing with his family, watching birds and being outdoors. Active in his church, serving as communion minister, on the parish council and a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. The couple were active as independent consultants for the Meleluca Wellness Company. Survivors include three daughters and his sister. Services in Boone.
