Ruth Margaret Albert Stone, 96, Sioux Falls,SD. She passed away in July and "due to circumstances beyond the families control, her obituary was not released at that time. Since Ruth loved Boone, her friends and church in Boone, it was decided to publish it late, with apologies."

Married in 1951, the family moved to Boone in 1955. A dedicated mother and homemaker, she cooked, sewed clothes, and volunteered in school, church, 4-H and Cub scouts. A life-long member of the United Methodist Church here, she volunteered in many areas, was skilled in sewing and needlework, enjoyed music, gardening, flowers and bird watching. A victim of Multiple Sclerosis for many years, she lived independently until 2013 when she moved to a nursing home in Sioux Falls, near her daughter. Survivors include her daughter and a son as well as a daughter-in-law, Julia (Mark-deceased) Stone of Boone. Services were held in LeMars.
