BOONE CONNECTED DEATH

     Colonel Franklin Duane Peterson, 90, West Des Moines. DMRoosevelt-50. Drake University-55, where he earned a degree in Business Administration. Married Bonnie Lou Brown in Des Moines in 1955. Bonnie Lou was born in Boone, BHS-49. She became an R.N., earning her license from the Iowa Methodist School of Nursing in 1952. The couple lived in Des Moines, starting in 1955. Franklin retired after 40 years in the Iowa Air National Guard and U.S. Air Force. Bonnie was an obstetrics nurse at Iowa Methodist for many years before becoming a full-time homemaker. Franklin was a member of a Des Moines church while Bonnie continued to be a member of the Central Christian church of Boone. The couple were avid gardeners. Wife Bonnie and a son survive. Services in West Des Moines.
