AREA CONNECTED DEATH

     Douglas Alan Mueller,  64, Dayton/Trinity, Ft Dodge. Born in Anamosa. Attended Stratford schools. Webster City HS. Married Sharon Trausch in South Dakota in 1981. They divorced. Doug worked as a farm hand in the Stratford area, then worked at Electrolux in Webster City before joining the U.S. Marine Corps in 1980. Discharged in 1984, he returned to Electrolux until that plant closed. He totaled over 33 years in that job. Doug enjoyed spending time with veterans, fishing, gardening, watching M*A*S*H* and he had a love for all animals. Survivors include a son, a daughter, two sisters, a brother and a dear friend. Services in Dayton.

     Donald E. Snedden, 81, Grand Junction/Hearth Stone, Boone. Born in Boone. Ogden HS-60. ISU. Don married Delores Helene Jones in 1963.The couple resided in Ankeny for one year before moving to West Des Moines. The family moved back to their farm, north of Beaver, in 1972. In 1962, he began his career in architecture with a Des Moines firm, eventually becoming a partner. After 40 years, he retired. In addition, he always enjoyed farming and raising livestock. Don enjoyed woodworking, camping and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Dee Snedden, of Ogden, a daughter, three sons, including Dan Snedden of Ogden. Two brothers also survive. Services in Ogden.
