Dennis Lee Etringer, 71, Marion. Born in Maquoketa. MHS-70. ISU and master's degree from Viterbo University. Married Nancy Jo Ehl in Maquoketa in 1972. In education, worked at Britt, United Community and in Boone. Dennis coached the Boone Toreador girls basketball team a few seasons in the late 1980's. His first year was 1986-87. He followed ISU sports and the Chicago Cubs. The couple enjoyed wintering in Florida. Survivors include his wife, Nancy, a son, a daughter, two sisters and a brother. Services in Marion.
