     A special shout-out to the Boone Little League All-Stars coached by Nathan Ross.

     The All-Stars have had some impressive tournament wins in Ankeny. After trailing, 2-0, they came back to defeat Johnston, 13-2, and followed that up with a victory over Ankeny, 10-0. Both those games were won via the 10-run rule. Friday, the Boone team stopped Urbandale, 9-4. 

     Now, today, Monday, July 1, the Boone All-Stars will battle Southeast Polk at 6 p.m. A win would complete a 4-0 mark in round robin play and advance them to state championship rounds in
Ankeny
