Janice Annette Shirbroun Miover, 79, Boone. Born in Jefferson. Perry HS-62. Additional education at AIB in Des Moines and DMACC. Married William Ross. Married Peter Miover. Worked at ISU for 30 years as an account clerk before retiring in 2004. A collector and lover of sporting events, she also enjoyed gardening, boat rides, traveling, crocheting, puzzles, Jeopardy, shopping, baking, music, bird watching, genealogy, listening to KWBG and board games. Survivors include five adult children, including Leanna (William) Kinney and Peter Miover of Boone and Mark (Wanda) Ross of Ogden. Services in Boone.
Dennis Wendall Ladd, 81, Jefferson. Grew up in Paton. PHS-60. Attended Boone Junior College for two years before earning a degree at Drake. Eventually, earned a law degree from Drake and practiced in Jefferson from 1973 to retirement. Married Kathy Lynch in Des Moines in 1964. Survivors include his wife, a son and two daughters. No services are planned.
