Had a 40-year career as a conductor with the Chicago/Northwestern and then the Union Pacific Railroad. Retired in 2008. A Cyclone fan who loved the outdoors and woodworking projects. Survivors include his wife, Barbara, two daughters, a sister and three brothers. Services in Boone.
Bertha Miller Heathcote, 95, Altoona. A sister and five adult children survive. Services in Altoona with burial in Pilot Mound.
Myles Peyton Hutchison, 1, Boone. Survivors include his parents, Marquetta McQuone and Brock Hutchison of Boone and grandparents, Dawn and Jeff Martin, Cari and Andy Wheeler and David Hutchison. Services in Boone.
