Debra "Debbie" Linn Andrews Christopher, 71, Boone. Born in Fort Knox, KY. Raised on the family farm near Stratford. Was the embodiment of warmth, strength and generosity. She exhibited kindness, unmatched energy and a fun-loving spirit. She enjoyed winters in Florida, motorcycle trips with her husband, Jimmy, and their friends and she had a passion for design and decorating. Debbie spent the last year of her life caring for her husband, Jim Christopher, during his battle with cancer. He lost that battle in July. Survivors include her best friend and sister, Kris (Jeff) Higgins, as well as sisters Sherri (Jeff) Nelson and Linda Sesker and her brother, Mike (Lynn) Sundall. Six children also survive. A COL is planned in Boone.
Charles R. "Chuck" Burbach, 81, Boone/Ogden Accura/Suncrest. Born in Nebraska. Married Mary Leonilla Werve in 1965. The couple lived in Washington, IA, Phoenix, AR and then Columbia, MO. Chuck worked in construction, as a funeral director and non-profit manager. In 2000, they moved to North Carolina where Chuck started his own ceramic tile business. He was a self-made craftsman. Mary died in 2006 and in 2020, Chuck moved to Boone to be near his daughter, Nancy (David) Alexander, and family. Two other daughters, a sister and brother also survive. Services in Boone and Vail, IA.
