Beverly Ann Staker Anderson, 87, Des Moines. Born in Boone. Her parents, Kenny and Millie Staker, are deceased. Grew up in West Des Moines. Valley HS-56. Married Don Anderson in 1957. Survivors include three children and three siblings. Services in West Des Moines.
Alton Crim, 95, Webster City/Crestview Nursing. Born in Stratford. SHS-48. Marine vet. Married Janice Lucille Sinclair, BHS-56, in Boone in 1958. Alton worked for Batcheller Transfer, Moorman Feed, Electrolux, the State Liquor Store and Fridigaire. Alton loved to fish and made many fishing trips to Canada. He and Janice spent their time bowling, camping and traveling. Janice died in 2006. Survivors include three children, including Colin (Rhonda) Crim of Boone. A COL will be held in Webster City.
Patrecia Hodges Emley, 76, Slater. She attended the ballet school of dance instructed by internationally renowned Betty Mae Harris in Boone.
Bill Buising, 88, Des Moines. Many of the families best memories were made by Bill and his wife, Marcia, on vacations, including time spent at the Des Moines YMCA family camp in Boone. The family asked for memorials to be sent in memory of the Des Moines YMCA camp.
