Betty Will Martin, 92, Boone. Born in Boxholm. Boxholm Community School. Married Richard (Dick) Martin in Boxholm in 1959. Betty enjoyed the vegetable garden she and Dick started and operated for many years. Their melons were well known and they sold their produce at the Ames and Boone Farmer's Market's for many years. Betty was a bowler and worked in several secretarial positions in the Boone/Ames area. Dick passed in 2021. Three children, Todd, BHS-82, (Renee), and Rodney, BHS-84, (Cindi) Martin and Joni, BHS-86, (Russell) Nollen, survive. Services in Boone and Boxholm.
Judith Ann Phipps Tonsfeldt, 86, Ogden/Eastern Star. Born in Boone. OHS-57. Married Roger Tonsfeldt in Ogden in 1959. The couple later divorced. Judy was a secretary at Ogden High School and Howe Elementary and also worked at the Boone County Hospital as an assistant in the Physical Therapy Department. She had a lifelong love of horses. Survivors include a daughter, Lesli (Brett) Hayes of Ogden and a son, Steve. No services are planned.
