Dean Ahrens, 90, Stratford. Born in rural Boone County. Attended St. Paul's Church School. Air Force vet. Married Ellen Lynch in 1955. Was a carpenter and co-owned Ahrens Brothers Construction with Dale and Jean Ahrens. Worked for Story Construction prior to retirement. Survivors include his wife, Ellen, two daughters, including Jennifer Crim of Stratford, and a son, Brett Ahrens, of Stratford. Services in Stratford.
