BOONE/AREA CONNECTED DEATHS

     Laurie Ann Tice Cohrs, 57, Ogden. Born in Nevada. Ames HS-85. Married Ronald Cohrs in Nevada in 1998. She has worked for Swift Restoration in Boone for the past 12 years. Enjoyed music, camping and traveling. Had visited Mt. Rushmore, family in Arizona and Kentucky and very much enjoyed the Fourth of July celebration at Lake Okoboji. Survivors include her husband, three children and three siblings. An COL will be celebrated in Ames. 

     Robin Krause, 68, Fraser. Born in Minnesota. Boxholm HS. Worked for Archway and also independently owned and operated his own carpentry/contracting business. He built the first Jimmy John's in the area, with two of them in Ames. Did odd jobs, loved old cars, restoring them and attending car shows. He also enjoyed traveling with family members. Survivors include his daughter, Jodi Krause and her partner, Trent; a son, Jacob (Micaela) Krause and three sisters, Joanna, Ruth and June. A COL will be held in rural Boone.
