BOONE CONNECTED DEATHS: James (Jimmy) Schroeder, 93, Boone. BHS-47. Former Boone funeral director...........Bonnie Lorrie Cox, 75, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-64. Married Curtiss Dale Cox in 1964. Was Activity Director at Ogden Manor for 21 years and for two years at the Madrid Home. She retired in 2009. Played accordian in the Old Timer's Band for 10 years. Survivors include her husband, a son Doug of Boone and a daughter, Sarah.........Dorothy Irene Hoshaw, Boone. Formerly of Stratford and Webster City. Born in Fraser. Stratford High School-53. Married James Roger Hoshaw in 1953. The couple lived in the Stratford area for 79 years. Moved to Webster City in 2015 and when Roger passed in 2017, Dorothy moved to the Eastern Star Home in Boone. She had worked at several Stratford businesses, Carol's Cafe, Stratford Distributing, Leed's Grocery and the Stratford Telephone Co. Her final job was at CDS in Boone. Survivors include two daughters, including Shelley Marvin of Boone and one son, Kevin, of Stratford.........Ruth Keller, a 104-year old resident of Westhaven. A Dallas Center native.
