HORRORS

Modern technology. Isn't it wonderful? Well......yes, when things are clicking. BUT, what a pain when problems develop. We're just too darn dependent on these "conveniences" and when they go awry, our world seems to turn upside down.
Straight out of the night, our computer balked.....just went dead. We were "out of business" for a period of time but, eventually, our mechanical "caretaker" revived things.
So, we're back again. I'm not sure the young man who provided resuscitation even knows what really happened but he kept "at it" and finally, a positive conclusion. For how long? Who knows?

The Kornerman just got to thinking and that can be dangerous of course. However, every time I have this situation I wonder if its no longer necessary. I mean lots of time has passed. I'm referring to UNI.........the University of Northern Iowa. There still are some folks who did attend that institution when it was Iowa State Teachers College so we usually include (now UNI).
Is that still necessary? I don't know......perhaps not......but I guess it doesn't hurt anything to continue the way we always have.
