Sherri Kay MacRunnel Anderson, 63, Boone. Has been employed at HyVee, the Shortstop and Casey's. She loved plants, taking drives and collecting Knick Knacks. Survivors include three sons, Zachary, Zane and Zeth and eight siblings. Service in Boone.
John Campbell, 89, Oskaloosa. Born in MN. Family settled in Boone. BHS-51/Boone Junior College. Married Sheila Browning, BHS-51, in 1953. Worked at Quinn's and was an Iowa National Guardsman. Moved to Oskaloosa in 1969 where he worked for 30 years at Clow Valve Company. He and Sheila owned Imperial Lanes in Camanche, IA. in the 1980's before moving to Oskaloosa. John is a member of the Oskaloosa Bowling and Iowa State Seniors Bowling Halls of Fame. Survivors include his wife, Sheila, and a son. Service at Bass Point cemetery in rural Boone.
Robert Kuebler, 61, Ames/Boone. Born in Fort Dodge. Grew up in Eagle Grove. Attended welding school. Air Force vet 1980-86. Was a Fire Protection Specialist. Married Cynthia Lee Miller in Fort Dodge in 1997. The couple lived in Fort Dodge, Boone, Story City and Ames while Robert had a 25-year career at Barilla as a Maintenance Technician. He loved to play cards and dancing with his wife. Survivors include his wife, Cindy, a daughter, son, step-daughter and two siblings. Private celebration of life at the Iowa Veteran's Cemetery.
Donald S. Kinna Jr., 66, Boone. Born in New York. Grew up in Maryland. Married Tracy Hopkins in Boone in 1993. A 30-year Marine/Army vet. Enjoyed fishing, golfing, Tropical Rock, the Packers and was a member of the Boone Fish and Hunt Club. Survivors include his wife, Tracy, and five children. Services at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel.

Joanne Klement Efkamp, 88, Boone. Born in Otho. Dayton HS. Married John (Jack) Efkamp in Boone in 1955. Joanne worked as a CNA at Westhaven. She enjoyed gardening, camping, NASCAR and Iowa and Iowa State basketball. Four adult children survive, Tony, Sherri, Randy and Cindy. Services in Boone.
Larry Eugene Sorensen, 81, Waukee. Born in Fort Dodge. Grew up in Laurens. Attended Peru University. Married Diana Ware in 1968. Both began careers in Sac City. Was an English teacher for 32 years. Was also a newspaper columnist and former Managing Editor of the Boone News Republican. An avid reader, he enjoyed playing the guitar, photography, the Hawkeyes and Corvettes. Survivors include a daughter, two sisters and a brother. Services in Waukee.
Marsha Elaine Hammond, 71, Boone/Elkader. BHS-70. Worked several administration positions, including at the Boone County Hospital. For the latter part of her adult life, she battled mental illness and chronic pain. She loved the outdoors, car rides along the Des Moines River and flower gardens. Music was therapy and she loved being around horses. Survivors include two sons, Brian (Emily) Gibbs of Elkader and Tom (Elaina) Gibbs of Boone. Two sisters also survive. A private family service is planned for a later date.
Sue Ann Ray Buckley, 49, Stratford. Born in Boone. Attended Dayton and Burnside schools. Earned a G.E.D. from Iowa Central Community College. Worked in health care as a C.N.A. She also worked in food service, managing restaurants. She loved writing poetry, crocheting and collecting Hello Kitty items. Survivors include two adult children, her parents, Chuck and Diane Ray of Pilot Mound, and four siblings, including Amanda Ray of Pilot Mound. Celebration of Life planned later.
Judith Clause Garber, 81, Des Moines. Loved being involved in Ogden's Relay for Life fundraiser for fighting breast cancer. A son and sister survive. Services in Ogden.
