     Douglas Alan Lawson, 45, Madrid. MHS-95. Always serving the elderly, first as a dietary aide, then as a CNA. Survivors include his parents, Dennis Lawson and Linda Lawson, a sister, Jana Dalton, of Madrid and nephews, Benjamin Dalton of Boone and Bailey Dalton of Madrid. Services will be held in the spring.

     Betty Anderson Koger, 95, Marshalltown. Formerly of Boone. Worked in the Boone County Engineer's office for 25 years, retiring in 1980. Married Jim Anderson and he died in 1976. Married Ralph Koger and he passed in 2017. An avid bowler. Survivors include a daughter and step-daughter.

     Pamela Jean Tice Gibbs, 65, McCallsburg. Ames High and an AA degree in Arizona. Married Paul (Corky) Gibbs in 1989 and the couple lived in Arizona until a move back to Iowa in 1992. Survivors include her husband, a son and four siblings, including Laurie Cohrs of Boone. Services in Ames.

     Martha Crowell Knight, 80, Des Moines. Born in Boone County. GED as earned in 1989. Married Dean Knight in 1959. Was a factory worker, in retail and at the BHS kitchen. Survivors include four daughters, including Rhonda Knight, Lisa Price and Donna Davis of Boone and three sisters, Delores Harshbarger and Mina Bielfelt of Boone and Beth Cleland of Ogden. Services will be in Boone.

     James (Jim) Brunner, 87, Bella Vista, Ark. Grew up in Boone. BHS-52. ISU, UNI, Masters from the University of Northern Colorado. For more than 30 years, the family lived in Moline,IL while Jim taught math at high schools and colleges, primarily Black Hawk College in Moline. Later, he taught math at the University of Arkansas. Moved to Bella Vista in 2000. A golfer, singer and baseball fan. Survivors include his wife, Jean, a daughter, and his sister, Marilyn Brunner Eagan, BHS-54, of Eau Claire, Wis. Services will be held in Bella Vista.
