Gary Elliott, 78, Boone. Born in Boone. BHS-63. Married Karen Nicolle in 1965. National Guard vet. Worked for Fareway for 49 years, in stores and the warehouse. He loved watching song birds in his yard and attending races to watch his grandson race at the Boone Speedway. Survivors include his wife, Karen, a son, two daughters, a sister and sister-in-law. Services in Boone.
Jeannette O'Rourke, 87, Boone. Born in Ionia,IA. St. Boniface HS-53. Married Harold O'Rourke in Ionia in 1956. Was a CNA at St. Joseph's Hospital in her early years and then at Farmland in Carroll until retirement in 2001. Enjoyed cooking, caring for her flowers, playing cards and attending family gatherings. Survivors include five adult children, including Theresa O'Rourke of Boone. Services in Boone.
Steven Lee Bever, 63, Des Moines. Survivors include a brother, Jim (Kathy) Bever, of Boone. Services in Perry.
