Married Betty Joyce Will in Boxholm in 1959. Worked at John Deere 34 years prior to retirement. For many years, operated a large and very popular vegetable garden. Survivors include his wife, Betty, of Boone, two sons and one daughter, two sisters, Alice Whittlesey and Hazel Peterson, both of Boone and a brother, Bill, of rural Boone........Carol June Jennings, 63, Boone. BHS-75. Earned an accounting degree from DMACC. Worked at the Boone County Hospital and as a manager of several local restaurants. Was a caregiver for her significant other, Jeff Bills, until his death in 2014. Survivors include her step-mother, two sons, including Chris Page of Boone, a step-daughter, Jenny Glauner of Boone, four brothers and four sisters......Charles Z Rodgers, 75, Ogden. Born in Pilot Mound. Grand Community HS-64. Navy vet. Married Elia Perez in 1972. After his Navy retirement, the couple moved to Ogden. He operated Rodgers Plumbing and Heating and was a rural mail carrier in the Madrid area. Survivors include his brother, Tom Rodgers, of Ogden, one sister and two sons..........Mary T. Pepper Jensen, 92, Boone. Married Richard Jensen in Ames in 1952. They divorced in 1965. Survivors include six children and three siblings, including Bill and Gene Pepper, both of Boone........Teresa Tesdahl, 70, Traer, IA. A daughter, Deena Kinnard, of Boone is among the survivors..........Edward Mataya, 84, Madrid. Grew up on a farm in the Madrid area. Madrid HS-55.
