SEVERAL ITEMS

Major General Tim Orr, Iowa National Guard Adjutant General and a Boone native, BHS-78, will retire May 1 after 40 years of service, 10 overseas and 30 in Iowa. He was first appointed to the position by Governor Chet Culver in 2009.
His parents, who both have passed, were Jeannine and Roger Orr, both BHS grads.

First word on a coming class reunion.
Larry Kelley, BHS-64, informs us his class will be meeting for their 55th on Sept. 20-21.
Friday night at Puntenney's home and Saturday night at Cedar Pointe, where he promises Belluci's pizza will be available.
Also, Larry said he may attempt a Tel-Star type reunion for that time to provide some music. More details will be coming.

Apparently, the People's Clothing store has been sold. Is there any connection there with the Boone Theatre group?
